ASSIGNMENT ONE
Instructions of Assignment
NB: This assignment will contribute a maximum of 50% towards your final mark.
Due date: Monday, 12 October 2020 at 12pm. The cut-off date is (17/10/2020) at 12pm midday. There will be a 10% deduction for each day that the assignment is submitted after the
due date. All assignments must be submitted in a PDF format or 5% deduction will be
applicable. No word doc or any other format.

Body: The body of your essay must consist of the following: - Discuss the difference between teacher identity &
vocational teacher identity. (5) - Which occupational community does your discipline
belong too and give a brief overview of how your
discipline fits in that occupational community.
(20) - Discuss FOUR ways on how you would link your
occupational community to your classroom.
(20) - Design a code of professional ethics for your discipline

Conclusion The conclusion cannot be a summary of the essay. The
conclusion is a critical evaluation of the topic in relation to the
topic.

APA 6th referencing style must be employed both in-text and in
the reference list. Bad referencing to be marked between 0-5,
and good referencing to be marked between 6-10.
