Having a literate society is the same as having the healthy society. As much as education cannot be equated to the health sector, they are much alike. The productivity of the nation is determined by the citizen’s health status, likewise, the literacy level. Even though we cannot say healthcare is free, its cost is much lower than that of education, especially the college education. Therefore, having healthcare and education as the fundamental tools behind the success of the nation, there is a need to offer schooling for free. Reports indicate that college education cost has risen up to 500 percent since 1980s.
