- Look at the file on Shapes in Works of Art. Choose 3 works with geometric shapes and write about those works.
- Find a work in the textbook that was made with organic shapes and write about it.
- Look at the file on Design Principles used by artists. Find a painting in this file and describe how the Renaissance painter used psychological/mental lines to lead your eyes to the focal point. (Fully describe in your response).
- Describe 1 work that shows symmetrical balance and 1 that shows asymmetrical balance.

Find 1 painting in chapter 17 that shows linear perspective and write about it.
